Courtney skated for the Boston Blades for her first two seasons as a pro. Afterwards, she joined the PWHPA to help power the women's movement, where she competed as a member of the association for the past three years. Courtney retired from professional hockey this past off-season, and turned the page to the coaching and managerial side of the game.  She is eager to pass on her knowledge to the stars of tomorrow.

Upon retirement, Courtney was named the Head Coach of Hingham High School this past fall, where she has led the Harborwmen to the MIAA Division I Tournament in March. Additionally, she’s worked in the past as a Camp Director with the Pro Ambitions Hockey, and will now join the Boston Lady Whalers in a full-time capacity.

When asked for comment, Boston Lady Whalers Owner Mike Cusack had this to say, "We are ecstatic to welcome Courtney as our new Boston Lady Whalers Executive Director. Courtney is one of the sharpest young minds in hockey, and is the perfect fit to propel our program to the next level.”

In addition to being named the Boston Lady Whalers Executive Director, Courtney has also been named the Head Coach of the Bay State Breakers U19 Tier 1 National Bound Team for the Fall of 2023. Courtney will take the reins of all of our on-ice developmental programming, as well as her duties overseeing the program as a whole.
