Erie, PA -  The Boston Lady Whalers Elite Hockey Club is thrilled to announce that longtime 2005 National Elite Team defender, Ashley Mandeville has made her college commitment, and will be taking her talents to Mercyhurst University!

A native of Pascoag, RI, Ashley projects as a poised and cerebral defender with elite decision making ability at the collegiate level.  She played the majority of her youth years with the Providence Capitals boys teams, before matriculating on to the East Coast Wizards as a U16 player.

For the past two seasons, Ashley has been playing for the Bishop Kearney Selects in Rochester, NY.  In her second season with the BK Selects U19 Team, she continues to grow and develop while serving as a staple on the team's blue line.

In 2022, Ashley was selected to the USA U16/17 National Team Camp prior to making her decision.

Ashley's younger sister, Kaylee, has been a member of our BLW 2008 National Elite Team for multiple years as well.
